FOOTBALL

Lautoka women

ALL players wishing to represent the Lautoka women's team this season are requested to attend training at Churchill Park ground two from 4.30pm daily. Contact: Sere 9916576.

Tailevu/Naitasiri

THE Tailevu Naitasiri Football Association council meeting will be held on Wednesday April 9 at Vunimono High School starting at 7pm.

NETBALL

New Vision Bure

A netball tournament will be held at the Wainibuka School grounds on May 1 and 2. Only the first 12 teams to pay $70 entry fee will be accommodated. Winner gets $300 and runner-up will get $150. Contact Viri on 9513657.

Kaicolo Cup

THE knockout will be held on May 7 and 8 at 8am at Vatureba Park. Registration for the season 2014 is $100 per club. Winner $500, runners-up $200 and losing semi-finalist $75 each and best player and best dressed teams receive a shield. Interested women and men are welcome to join Navosa Netball 2014. Tailevu

THE Tailevu Netball Association season opening knockout will be held on May 3 at the Vunivivi Multi-Purpose Court from 10am. Registration fee is $150. Closing date for registrations is May 1 . Registration forms could be collected from Unaisi on 9330349 or Losana on 9268347 or Miriama on 9906300. All teams are to bring in a plate each for morning tea. President Unaisi Ravouvou will be the chief guest.

Suva

THIS is to inform all NewWorld Suva Netball Association affiliates and those wishing to participate in the Suva Netball Association that our Suva Netball Knockout will be held on April 26 at the National Netball Centre. Registrations forms are available upon request and team registration is $200 per team. All teams are required to pay their registration before the knockout on April 26. The venue of camp will be announced later. The players are requested to attend the nearest High Performance Unit Training Centre for assessment and training in the lead up to the camp. Any questions can be directed to Team Manager, Paula Biu, on 9775943.

New Vision Bure 7s

The tournament will be held at Wainibuka Secondary School ground on May 1and 2. Fee is $200 and only 24 teams will be accommodated. The main prize is $1700 and runner-up gets $800. Prizes also for plate and bowl winners. Entry fee due on April 29. Contact 9000279 or 9513657 for more information.

Wainivula Eels

THE Wainivula Eels rugby club is inviting Fijians of Indian descent interested in representing the club for the 2014 Indo Rugby season. Training starts from today at Albert Park from 5.30pm. Contact Alvin Nair on 9270071.

Vanuakula 7s

THE Bula FM Vanuakula 7s tournament will be held on June 20 and 21. 32 teams will be accommodated. Entry fee is $300. Winner gets $3000 and runner-up gets $1500. Prizes will also be given out to plate and bowl winners. 12 teams will be accommodated in the U19 competition. Entry fee is $110 and main prize is $500. Prizes will also be given out to plate and bowl winners. 15 teams will accommodated for the netball competition. Entry fee is $100 and winner gets $700. Yamacia 7s

RUGBY LEAGUE

Nausori

TO all current and everyone who wish to join the Nausori Cowboys and play in the upcoming Nines and 2014 season, training will be held every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at Syria Park from 5pm. THE Marist volleyball tournament will be held on June 27 and 28 in Suva. Registration fee is $450 for men's and $300 for women's. Registrations close on June 14.
