Fijiana beat England in first pool match

Update: 5:35PM ASINATE Savu scored two tries and Luisa Basei Tisolo scored one to help the Telecom Fijiana side upset England 15-12 in their first match of the China leg of the IRB Women's HSBC Sevens World Series.

Savu scored two tries to give the national women's side lead 10-0 as both conversions were missed.

Michaela Staniford scored a converted try before half time to close the gap.

Natasha Brennan scored early in the second spell to edge England ahead but Tisolo scored in the dying stages to give Fiji the win.

Fiji plays Australia at 6.12pm and the Ireland at 9.18pm.
