Update: 11:00AM A 30-YEAR-OLD woman of Vatukacevaceva Village in Rskiraki is the country's latest drowning victim.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said the 30-year-old was on her way to attend a funeral gathering at her village when she went missing on Thursday afternoon.

Ms Naisoro said her body was later discovered floating in a nearby river by a 15-year-old student.

She said the victim was a known epileptic patient and it's believed she suffered an episode which resulted in her falling into the river.

A post mortem examination conducted yesterday confirmed death by drowning.
