Athletics event in Suva

TOP secondary school athletes will use today's weekly club competition in Suva as part of their build-up to the annual Coca-Cola Games later this month.

Up for grabs at the ANZ Stadium today will be the SCA Shield for the men's blue ribbon event.

With the absence of title holder Banuve Tabakaucoro who is away abroad, this will be a race to watch with upcoming potentials such as Aaron Powell, Lepani Naivalu and Jacob Waqanivalu competing against one another.

Also at stake will be the SCA Shield for women's 400metres. Competition is also expected to be competitive in the field events.
