Assessors find Chaudhry guilty

Update: 1:37PM FORMER Prime Minister Mahendra Chaudhry was found guilty of three counts of violating the Exchange Control Act by assessors in the Suva High Court today.

Justice Paul Madigan summed the case to the assessors which saw them retire to deliberated.

At midday court re-convened with the four assessors finding Mr Chaudhry guilty on all three counts.

Justice Madigan will give his judgement this afternoon at three.
