Update: 10:46AM JUSTICE Paul Madigan summed up the evidence to four assessors in the trial of former prime minister Mahendra Chaudhry this morning.
He told them to consider only the evidence.
He says the charges brought under this law are strict liability which means the law has to be abided whether or not the person thinks he has done wrong.
Assessors have now retired to deliberate before returning with their opinion.
State prosecution has asked the court to penalise the accused for making frivolous application which led to the delay of the trial.
