Jone Kalouniviti
Tuesday, April 01, 2014

WOMEN must assert themselves and become part of the decision-making process, says the Minister for Social Welfare, Women and Poverty Alleviation Dr Jiko Luveni.

"Women must have the confidence to be assertive so that there are efforts to include women as beneficiaries of development programs which has shown in the allocation of a significant budget this year," Dr Luveni said.

She said it was inspirational to see women take up positions which were previously dominated by men.
