Court bails school teacher

Update: 4:26PM A 37-YEAR-old school teacher has been granted a $2000 bail by the Labasa Magistrates Court this afternoon.

The accused appeared before Magistrate Tomasi Bainivalu.

He is alleged to have annoyed three primary school students and also indecently assaulted another in Vunimoli last year.

Magistrate Bainivalu ordered the man to surrender all his travel documents and report to the Labasa Police Station three days in a week from 7am to 5pm.

No plea was taken.

The case will be called again on Wednesday.
