Youths to benefit from factory employment

ABOUT 300 youths from the village of Nananu in Ra are expected to benefit from new employment opportunities to be created by 480 Holdings Limited upon the opening of the new natural artesian bottled water factory.

"For years we have been struggling to send our children to school as well as make our daily living," says landowner Mosese Ritova.

A three-year development lease has been given to the American-based company to build and develop the proposed site before the actual business starts.

On Saturday, the company handed over a cheque of $90,000 to the villagers.
