New office for crop and livestock farmers

Update: 2:48PM THE Fiji Crop and Livestock Council is now in a better position to provide a wide of range of services to an estimated 30,000 farmers from 17 commodity associations.

It is the result of the council opening its new headquarters in Lautoka yesterday.

FCLC chairman Simon Cole said the new base would provide a platform for the council to cater for its members and offered a one-stop shop for non-sugar cane farmers.

The new building is located at Marine Drive in Lautoka and was opened by Prime Minister Rear Admiral Voreqe Bainimarama.
