Floodings force road closures

Update: 2:12PM THE Fiji Roads authority has closed off several roads in the Central and Eastern divisions because of flooding.

In an update sent by the Ministry of Information yesterday, 15 roads were closed with contractors in the progress of carrying out reinstatement works on infrastructure failures and to reinstate closed roads.

Some of the roads closed include Delailasakau, Naitonitoni, Nabukavesi, Wainadoi and Saliadrau in Taunovo, Dawakoto and Buidina in Rewa; and Savu Rd in Naqali.

FRA is advising all travelling public to take extreme caution and avoid all flood waters.
