Nadi striker weds sweetheart

NADI strike ace Rusiate Matarerega scored the goal of his life when he married his sweetheart Bulou at Bavu Village on Thursday.

Friends and family members joined the couple for the wedding reception at the Nadi Civic Centre.

The 21-year-old who is the son of former Lautoka, Nadi and national rep Watisoni Voli played a key role for the Jetsetters last season guiding the team to victory in the Fiji FACT and second spot in the National Football League.

He won the Fiji Football Association 2012 Junior Footballer of the Year Award and was voted as the most popular player for the 2013 season.

Matarerega will be one of the players to watch at the Oceania Champions League play-offs in the country next month.
