Further tests on seized materials

ADDITIONAL tests conducted on all substances found in a Nadi premises where a suspected drug lab was being housed are still being carried out, says police chief operations officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu.

He said all substance and equipment seized had been taken to Koronivia Research Station for further tests.

He said no other suspect had been questioned or charged, however, the police were working with other agencies.

"Yes, we are working with other agencies in these cases and they are Customs and Biosecurity and we will seek foreign assistance when the need arises," said Mr Tudravu.
