Police probe cyber crime cases

Update: 11:30AM THE Fiji Police Forces Cyber Crime Unit continues to receive reports on the abuse of social network sites and mobile phones.

Cases currently being investigated by the police include the setting up of fake accounts on Facebook, sending abusive texts to even annoying people by making dropped calls.

Acting Commissioner of Police, Ravi Narayan has assured that all efforts are being made to enhance the Cyber Crime Unit to allow it to successfully investigate reports.
