Clinic for students

IT was a day of excitement for the students of La Salle College as they managed to get a glimpse of their favourite rugby 7s stars in Fijian players.

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team yesterday held their training session at the school ground and also conducted a clinic for the students.

College principal Brother Steve said they were honoured to host the Hong Kong 7s defending champions for the second time.

He said Waisale Serevi's presence also brought a lot of excitement among the students.

"Our boys watch and follow international sports and they are aware of the Fiji 7s team and that it has been the defending champions for the past two years and recent champions of Japan 7s," Brother Steve said.

"It's a great honour and inspiration and day of excitement for all of us as we build the understanding of 7s rugby in Hong Kong."
