Krishna rewarded

PROLIFIC goal scorer Roy Krishna won the Fiji FA Ambassador of the Year award at the Global Flight Centre Fiji FA awards night in the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka on Saturday night.

The Wellington Phoenix striker has been hailed as Fiji FA's soccer ambassador star for proudly flying the Fiji flag at international level.

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel said Krishna's achievements spoke volumes of the player's skills, talents and dedication.

"Roy achieved much more than the player of the year and we feel that it is proper to award him the Fiji FA ambassador award," he said.

"Roy is something that Fiji FA has always been proud of.

"His dedication, sacrifice and hard work have enabled him to do well in New Zealand soccer."
