A MAN charged with aggravated robbery and theft chose to plead guilty while his three co-accused denied the crime in the High Court in Suva yesterday.

Paula Vura, Vereti Vananalagi, Johnny Muftama and John Rao are alleged to have broken into a house at Namadi Heights in Suva and stole assorted items valued at about $14,000.

Muftama pleaded guilty to both counts before Justice Salesi Temo when the charges were read to him. Vura, Vananalagi and Rao pleaded not guilty.

Justice Temo convicted Muftama and told him he would be sentenced next week.
