Cause of fire unknown

A FISHING vessel that went up in flames in Suva Harbour on Wednesday has been confirmed by the Korean Embassy to be a Korean boat.

The embassy also confirmed there was no crew member on board the SK7 when the fire occurred.

According to the embassy, the vessel was unoccupied and in Suva for repairs.

Police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri.

He said the cause of the fire was still unidentified
