Update: 3:32PM MOBILE phone companies need to take responsibility for the products they sell.

Speaking at a Consumer Council workshop in Labasa yesterday council CEO Premila Kumar said companies need to be responsible for items they sell door-to-door.

This comes after concerns were raised by North consumers regarding the fact that mobile companies selling their products on the streets have refused to take ownership of them.
