33 receive Australia-funded scholarships

Update: 1:30PM THIRTY three individuals were awarded Australian Government-funded scholarships this morning at the Australian High Commission in Suva.

Speaking to the recipients, Bilateral Counsellor for Fiji and Tuvalu, Joanne Choe said it's important that they bring back the skills they get from their studies and apply them here in Fiji.

Of the 33, a number of them are doing agricultural studies, nautical studies, studies for children with disabilities, among other subject areas.

They will all be studying in different universities around Australia.
