Update: 12:27PM AUSTRALIA will tomorrow officially handover $F1.25million to Fiji to help the country fight dengue fever.

A statement from the Ministry of Information stated the funds are inclusive of the $F170,000 announced by the Australian High Commission in early March, 2014.

"Acting Head of Mission Australian High Commission, Mr Glenn Miles will participate in the handover ceremony," the statement said.

The assistance will be channelled through the Australian-funded Fiji Health Sector Support Program (FHSSP) to purchase medical supplies and fund an ongoing public health communications campaign.
