Symposium for indigenous businesses

Update: 12:34PM THE Fiji Indigenous Business Council has adopted the theme Indigenous Business: Creating Our Future to create opportunities for iTaukei children and young people to learn, understand and pursue entrepreneurial ventures.

Speaking at the opening of the Fiji Indigenous Business Council symposium this morning, council president Ulai Taoi said this would mean aligning future government policies to promote an integrated approach within the various arms of government.

"This would accelerate and unleash the spirit of entrepreneurship within the indigenous people," he said.

The two-day workshop will continue tomorrow at the Holiday Inn in Suva.
