Youths front court for car break-ins

DAWN GIBSON
Tuesday, March 18, 2014

Update: 3:04PM FIVE youths were produced in the Nasinu Magistrates Court this morning following allegations that the group was involved in a series of car break-ins in the Nasinu area last week.

This was claimed in a police statement this morning, which reported youths broke into five vehicles and sold the stolen items in Suva before spending the money on alcohol.

We are urging others in the same age group not to be easily involved in such illegal activities for the sole purpose of a few hours of enjoyment which in turn affects their future, police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said in the statement.
