Prison harvests baby ginger

Update: 1:37PM AS part of the operations of commercial arm of the Fiji Corrections Service, young or baby - ginger was harvested this morning at a nine-acre farm in Naboro.

This is a milestone achievement for the inmates as they have secured business deal with two Suva companies.

The farm is part of the rehabilitation of inmates who've been working on the ginger farm since it started late last year.

The harvest will continue until March 30.
