Public told to follow proper complaints channel

SALASEINI VOSAMANA
Tuesday, March 18, 2014

Update: 11:47AM ACTING Commissioner Northern Alipate Bolalevu is urging the public to follow the proper channels when lodging complaints against government departments.

Residents along the Korotari-Forestry Rd in Labasa recently complained about having to cross a river to get to the road.

Issues like this have to come to the district meetings and then to the provincial meetings, Mr Bolalevu said.

When the proper channels are followed, issues will be able to reach us and well be able to attend to them accordingly. People can also go through district or provincial administrators office.
