Roy scores first goal

FIJI'S strike sensation Roy Krishna created another history over the weekend. He scored his first ever A-League goal for Wellington Phoenix in the 2-2 draw against the Melbourne Heart on Sunday.

Krishna who joined the club as injury replacement made his first start last week against Perth Glory before finding the back of the net in his second outing.

The Fijian international striker broke down the right, shimmied past Heart central defender Patrick Kisnorbo and beat keeper Andrew Redmayne at the near post.

Tyler Boyd scored Wellington's goal. The New Zealanders were unrecognisable from the side that was smashed 5-0 four weeks ago by the Heart in Wellington, twice leading this thrilling clash at AAMI Park.

The Heart now has six wins, two draws and just one loss from their past nine games, but still sit in ninth spot on 25 points, six behind sixth-placed Adelaide.
