Trio in court

THREE men who allegedly raped a 57-year-old Canadian tourist have been remanded in custody by the Tavua Magistrates Court yesterday to appear in the High Court in Lautoka.

Pita Nateru, 20, Jale Fatiaki, 30, and Laitia Nalawa, 31, are charged with rape, aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.

The three will remain in custody at the Natabua Corrections Centre.
