Tuesday, March 18, 2014

TWO men charged with the murder of a 41-year-old man have been remanded to appear in the High Court in Suva.

Samuela Kaci and Apenisa Tubukilakeba were arrested over the weekend and appeared in court yesterday.

They allegedly beat up the man during an argument at a Suva nightclub. The man died three weeks later.

The men applied for bail, however, magistrate Alipate Mataitini said the charge was serious and the offence was indictable.

He said bail application should be made to the High Court.

The two have been remanded and will appear in the High Court on March 28.
