Rangers upset Tropik

RANGERS upset Tropik Woods 26-0 in the opening round of the Lautoka Rugby Union club games at Churchill Park last Saturday.

The Rangers team turned the tables against Tropik Woods after losing to them in the premier division final last year.

In another match, Western Shield downed Teidamu 12-0.

Lautoka secretary Salesi Vulakoro said the full round of matches would be played at Nadovu Park this Saturday.

Vulakoro said many clubs had not paid the registration fees for the new season.

"We will only allow clubs that have cleared the registration fees to participate in the competition," he said.

In the feature match on Saturday Farebrother Sullivan trophy holders Nadroga defeated Lautoka 29-3 in a warm-up match.
