GOLF

Ambrose

The Fiji Golf Club is going to host the ANZ Season opening progressive Ambrose on March 22. Registration at 9am and Tee off at 10am. Entry Fees is $30 per player or $120 for the team of four. There will be giveaway from sponsors, food and drinks on the course and at prize giving. Registration forms available at the club office.

FOOTBALL

Lautoka

ALL players wishing to represent the Lautoka women's team this season are requested to attend training at Churchill Park ground two from 4.30pm daily. Contact: Sere 9916576.

Lautoka

A SPECIAL council meeting of the Lautoka Football Association sanctioned by the Fiji Football Association investigating committee will be held tomorrow at the Churchill Park canteen starting at 6.30pm. All club delegates are invited.

Navua

Navua TIV

ALL Navua TIV players are requested to attend training at Thomson Park from 6pm daily. Any other South Indian players like to play Sangam convention are welcome and need more information call Norman 9899446 or Praneel 9995123.

NETBALL

Kaicolo Cup

THE knockout will be held on May 3 at 8am (Venue will be confirmed later). Registration for the season 2014 is $100 per club. Winner $500, runners-up $200 and losing semi-finalist $75 each and best player and best dressed teams receive a shield. Interested women and men are welcome to join Navosa Netball 2014. Club games for Baravi Zone will be held at Naviti Grounds on Saturday and Mid Valley Zone at Waicoba and the Upper Valley on Thursday at Vatureba Park. Men's team registration is $50. Lautoka Men's and Mixed

ALL clubs and teams interested are invited to join the Lautoka Men's and Mixed Netball Association this season. Registration is $150 per club and registration closes on April 3. Opening knockout will be held on April 12. Contact Cama on 9480874 or Fulori on 9323435 or Phoebe on 9298520.

Lomaiviti Netters

Navosa

FRIENDLY games will be held at Lawaqa Park on March 22 at 2pm. Baravi zone valley and upper valley teams are welcome to join the association in the 2014 season. NewWorld Suva Knockout

THIS is to inform all Suva Netball Association affiliates and those wishing to participate in the Suva Netball Association that our Suva Netball Knockout will be held on April 26th at the National Netball Centre. Registrations forms are available upon request and team registration is $200 per team. All teams are required to pay their registration before the Knockout on April 26th. THE Umpires Netball Workshop in Sigatoka which was scheduled for March 22 has been postponed to March 29 at same place, same time.

RUGBY

IRB course

THE International Rugby Board Level 1 Strength and Conditioning accreditation course will be conducted at the Pasifika Campus, Extension St, Suva on March 22. This accreditation course is for rugby team trainers at all levels. Naitasiri Samabula Zone

CLUB games for the Naitasiri Rugby Union Samabula Zone will begin on March 15. Registration fee is $800 with a deposit of $400. Only 16 teams will be registered for the Samabula Zone. THE Naitasiri Highlanders 10s tournament will be held on March 29 at Ratu Cakobau Park. First 20 teams in the Naitasiri zone competition to pay entry fees of $100 will be accommodated. Entries close on Wednesday, March 26 and team official will be briefed on tournament rules on March 27. Naitasiri South Zone

THE Naitasiri South Zone Committee is organising a 10s tournament to kick start the 2014 season on Saturday, March 22 at the Navuso Village School grounds. First 12 teams to play entry fees of $50 will be accommodated. There will also be an AGM for our zone on the same day in the morning and club officials will be required to send in their manager and one of their reps. Veiyasana 7s

New Dawn 7s

THE New Dawn 7s tournament will be held at Gatward Park on March 22. First 24 teams that pay registration fee of $200 will be accommodated. Winner will get $2000. Suva-Nausori corridor teams can deposit money to Bank of Baroda account 13017 and Tailevu teams can deposit money at Saivasa in Korovou town. Registration closes on March 21 at noon. Rara 7s

THE Viti FM Rara 7s tournament will be held at Naluwai grounds in Naitasiri on March 28-29. First 32 teams to pay $300 entry fee will be accommodated. Main prize is $3000. Tavua

THE mid week games will be held this Wednesday at Garvey Park. 12pm Sharks-Vatutavui, 1.30pm Brothers-Vanuakula, 3 Service-Togovere. Trials for the Tavua provincial team will be held this week at Tavua College ground from 1pm on Saturday. All interested players from Drauniivi to Natunuku are requested to attend this trial.

RUGBY LEAGUE
