Solomon's deputy police chief eager to see progress

Update: 5:19PM SOLOMON Islands Deputy Commissioner of Police, Walter Kola is eager to see the progress of initiatives discussed in previous Melanesian Spearhead Group Police Commissioners Conference.

Mr Kola arrived in the country last night to participate in the fourth conference that starts at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi tomorrow.

He wants to see the progress in initiatives that will boost their ability to effectively respond to law and order situations in the region. He is eagerly looking forward to the conference.

Papua New Guineas police commissioner is expected to arrive in the country this evening for the conference.
