Police help clean up to fight dengue

Update: 7:00PM AS part of initiatives to strengthen partnership with the community, police officers from a community post helped residents clean-up their area early this morning.

The officers from the Kalabu Police Post in Nasinu joined residents in the campaign to keep their area dengue-free.

Members of the Saioni Methodist Church, Nasinu Town Council workers and Nasinu Crime Prevention committee members also participated in the clean-up campaign.

A police statement said similar clean-up campaigns will be held this month to coincide with the national dengue clean-up drive.
