Update: 2:05PM FIJI marked World Water Safety Day 2014 today at the Aquatic Centre in Suva.

Hosted by the Water Safety Council of Fiji in conjunction with BSP Life and the National Fire Authority, students from six primary schools around Suva gathered at the centre to take part in swimming activities, life-saving activities and even in simple steps for resuscitation rescue.

The WSC hopes to make it a national event next year.
