Burst main leaves Labasa homes without water

Update: 11:24AM RESIDENTS in Labasa are advised to store water today after a burst main at the Benau Line caused water supply disruption in some areas.

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF), in a press release stated that supply should normalise by 11pm.

However, subsequent supply should be expected by midday.

The release also stated that water cart trucks would be supplying water to the affected areas. 

Areas affected include: Siberia Branch, Vatia, Vunivau-Cawaira, Soasoa, Basoga, Bulileka, Vitadra, Boubale, Boca-Urata, Low-Cost, Mani Rd and Dreketilailai.
