Warriors need bonus points to retain title

THE Telecom Fiji Warriors side wants a bonus point win in its remaining Pacific Rugby Cup pool matches.

The Lance Whippy-coached side takes on the Waratahs under-20 this afternoon in its third pool match before playing Junior Japan next week.

Team manager Joseph Browne said they were still in the run for the title and would do their best to win the competition again.

"Although the NSW Waratahs U20 is a younger team, we are not underestimating the side," he said.

"We have two more games left and we want to win well with bonus point so we can qualify for the finals."

Browne said prop Manasa Tuidraki was not feeling well and was replaced by the experienced Leroy Atalifo for today's match.

"Manasa is feeling bit sick so we have replaced him with Leroy who is our number one prop.

"The preparations have been really good.

"We are looking forward to good and clean rugby in our last two pool matches."

The Rupeni Nasiga-skippered Fiji Warriors side lost its opening pool match to Reds A 19-22 before beating Force A 36-24.
