Soldier fined

A SOLDIER was yesterday fined $100 and told to pay the sum in a fortnight or risk spending 10 days in jail after he pleaded guilty to indecently annoying a woman.

Gabirieli Natinavo, 26, admitted being drunk on September 26 last year when he followed the complainant while making indecent suggestions to her.

According to the summary of facts, the accused followed the complainant for some distance.

Natinavo chose to represent himself and pleaded guilty. He admitted the facts presented to the court.

He asked that the conviction not be entered on the record.

The court fined him $100.
