Ministry addresses shortage

HEALTH Minister Dr Neil Sharma said the shortage of X-ray films in Lautoka Hospital had been addressed and wet films were now in supply.

And he said the project of phasing out old medication in hospitals by the Health Ministry was running smoothly.

Dr Sharma said since the phasing out started, all operations had been running on time.

He said drugs such as anti-hypertensive medicine nifedipine were among the first to be phased out.
