FRCA nabs suspected smuggler

Update: 2:53PM A MAN wanted by the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority for various smuggling and customs duty evasion matters was stopped at the Nadi International Airport last week.

FRCA said in a statement issued today that the man was attempting to leave the country with a fake passport.

FRCA said the man is being investigated for liquor smuggling and customs duty evasion matters.

CEO Jitoko Tikolevu said FRCA would continue to be vigilant at the border.
