BODYBUILDING

Bodybuilding and Fitness

PLEASE take note that four bodybuilding and fitness competitions will be held this year:

- Buksh Classic in Suva on April 4 and 5

- West Championships in Nadi on June 14

- Mr Suva on the first Saturday of the Hibiscus Festival

- National Championships in Suva in October, on the weekend after Fiji Day.

FOOTBALL

Lautoka

ALL players wishing to represent the Lautoka women's team this season are requested to attend training at Churchill Park ground two from 4.30pm daily. Contact: Sere 9916576.

Lautoka

THE P Meghji-sponsored five-a-side soccer tournament will be held at the South Seas Club ground from March 14-16. Lucrative prizes. Entry fees: $100. Only 16 teams will be accommodated. Contact: Faiaaz Ali 9973363.

Nadi

THE Nadi Football Referees Association workshop will be held in the Prince Charles Park conference room from March 19 to March 21. This workshop will be conducted by former FIFA referee Mahendra Singh. Contact: 9993680, 9287789.

Navua

NETBALL

FSC Business House Netball

BUSINESS house netball will start on March 20. Registration fee is $150 per team. Please call 3312177 or email eronit@fijisportscouncil.com.fj for registration form. Registrations close on March 13.

Lautoka Men's and Mixed

ALL clubs and teams interested are invited to join the Lautoka Men's and Mixed Netball Association this season. Registration is $150 per club and registration closes on April 3. Opening knockout will be held on April 12. Contact Cama on 9480874 or Fulori on 9323435 or Phoebe on 9298520.

Lomaiviti Lautoka

Rovers

THE Rovers netball club is recruiting interested individuals to join our club. Invitation goes out to all interested women and men residing in the Suva - Nausori corridor. THE following players have been selected to attend the Fiji 7s Team Camp at Uprising Resort from Wednesday:

Naitasiri Samabula Zone

CLUB games for the Naitasiri Rugby Union Samabula Zone will begin on March 15. Registration fee is $800 with a deposit of $400. Only 16 teams will be registered for the Samabula Zone. Please call Madigi 8705252/Akanisi 9221160 for further details.

New Dawn 7s

The New Dawn 7s tournament will be held at the Gatward Park on March 22. First 24 teams that pay registration fee of $200 will be accommodated. Winner will get $2000. Suva-Nausori corridor teams can deposit money to Bank of Baroda account 13017 and Tailevu teams can deposit money at Saivasa in Korovou town. Registration closes on March 21 at noon. New Vision Bure 7s

The tournament will be held at Wainibuka Secondary School ground on May 1and 2. Fees is $200 and only 24 teams will be accommodated. The main prize is $2000. Entry due on April 29. Contact 9000279 for more information.

Rara 7s

THE Viti FM Rara 7s tournament will be held at Naluwai ground in Naitasiri on March 28-29. First 32 teams to pay $300 entry fee will be accommodated. Main prize is $3000. Red Rock 7s

THE MH Red Rock 7s tournament will be held at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on March 14 and 15. Total prizemoney is $10,000. The cup winner walks away with $5000 and also prizes for other categories. We will only accommodate 40 teams that pay their registration fees of $300/per team before today. All teams are welcome. Samabula

Tailevu

Veiyasana 7s

TOUCH RUGBY

Nadi

USP Business House

Vanua Challenge

THE Vanua Challenge will now be held on March 21 and 22 at the FMF gymnasium. Registration fees of $100 per team are to be paid to ANZ Bank-Fiji volleyball development A/C number 5527135 or pay FVF head office at the Vodafone Arena. Gate fees of $1 for children, adults $4 and players and officials $2. Contact FVF Head office on 9059099 for more information.

Lautoka
