Crusaders scrape past Stormers

Update: 8:42PM THE Crusaders finally got off the mark with their first win of the Super Rugby season, beating the Stormers 14-13 in Addington on Saturday.

But Kieran Fonotia scored for the hosts on the 69th minute to pull the Crusaders to within two points of the Western Province franchise, before Tom Taylor slotted home his third penalty of the evening four minutes from time to seal the win.

Crusaders: 14 (K Fonotia try; T Taylor 3 pens)

Stormers: 13 (D de Allende try; D Catrakilis cons, 2 pens)
