Update: 1:26PM THE Rotary Club of Suva together with the Health and Education ministries have officially launched a campaign to help raise awareness about the dangers and prevalence of rheumatic heart disease (RHD) in Fiji.

The partnerships mean that in June of this year, an entire week will be dedicated to engaging members of the public about the importance of raising awareness on issues relating to RHD.

Officiating the ceremony in Suva this afternoon was the Health Ministrys chief paediatrician Dr Joe  Kado, Rotary Club of Suva president Adrian Hughes and the Education Ministrys Basundra Kumar.
