A $100,000 upgrade of the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji kids' club will mean a much more enjoyable environment for children when they visit Fiji.

Resort general manager Peter Hopgood said the club and the meimei nanny centre now had modern kitchenettes, vibrant and colourful murals and more windows for extra ventilation.

"The $100,000 upgrade included wall extensions to allow for more space inside the centre as well as new decking allowing children to play outside," he said.

Mr Hopgood said the facility was of child care standard that guests used in their own countries.
