THE Northern Division has not recorded any reports of major damage as a result of last week's tropical depression.

However, acting Commissioner Northern Alipate Bolalevu yesterday said the adverse weather had minor impact on some roads on Vanua Levu.

"There are no reports of major damage from the three provinces of Cakaudrove, Bua and Macuata," Mr Bolalevu said.

"We have only been notified of minor road damage in parts of Vanua Levu as a result of the adverse weather.

"The authorities responsible have also been informed."

Mr Bolalevu said his weather operation team was also deactivated on Monday.

"Fine weather is finally setting in and the team that was operating on a skeleton staff has been deactivated."
