Victory for Singh in Ba golf event

SAHIL Singh took out the 18 holes stableford event at the Ba Golf Club on Sunday.

Singh scored 43 points. Ravinesh Chand was second with 38 points while Ashwin Sharma was third with 37 points. Raven Kumar won the nearest to the pin prize.

Meanwhile the club will host the Western Open Championship this Sunday.

The 18 holes stroke event is sponsored by former national rep Indra Warjan who now resides in New Zealand.

The competition will tee off at 9.30am and is expected to attract top golfers from Nadi and Lautoka. Entry fee is $10 per player.
