Man denies charges

A MAN accused of raping and committing a sexual act on two young girls pleaded not guilty to the charges yesterday.

The man appeared before High Court judge Justice Salesi Temo.

He agreed to the summary of facts read out in court but denied committing the crimes.

It is alleged that between August 1 and October 31 last year, the man raped a child who was below the age of 13.

The man is also alleged to have committed a sexual act on a young girl twice last year, sometime between August 1 and November 6 and again on November 3.

His bail has been extended.

The case has been adjourned to April 11.
