Ahmed wins Nadi golf event

FORMER national rep Zoheer Ahmed took out the Metal Works & Joinery Limited/Islands Pacific Apparel Summer Cup round two event at the Nadi Airport Golf Club on Saturday.

Ahmed who has returned to the country after spending couple of years in New Zealand won the A Grade with a score of 68 nett.

National squad member Roneel Prakash was second with 72 nett while Abid Hussain was third with 73 nett.

Former club president Chandra Segran Pillay won the C Grade after a countback from Balram. Both golfers scored 72 nett.

Fiji Football Referees Association president Mahen Singh was third with 73 nett.

Arvind Chand won the C grade. Chand scored 72 nett. V Pillay was second with 76 nett.

The third round of the Summer Cup will be played this weekend.
