By LUKE RAWALAI
Friday, February 28, 2014

Update: 5:08PM VILLAGERS of Yadua in Bua have felt the current low depression currently affecting the country.

Yadua islander Mereisi Tavo said they experienced heavy rain from Thursday night which lasted through yesterday (Friday) morning.

She said the villagers have taken heed of weather warnings and are taking preventative measures by nailing down window shutters and tying their houses to the ground.

As we speak, the situation here is calm and storm clouds have drifted over the island, she said.
