Damage-free Makogai

Update: 2:34PM THERES been no report of major damage on Makogai as a result of the heavy rain yesterday.

Fisheries Mariculture Station research officer Tevita Tikoilautoka said the buildings held against the heavy rain and good drainage kept the water flowing.

The sea level did rise but receded when the rain stopped late in the afternoon, Mr Tikoilaitoka said.
