Advice for motorists

Update: 2:04PM THE Fiji Roads Authority is advising motorists to take precautions on the roads.

The authority says some major roads have been closed because of flooding.

These include the Kings Road from Naiborebore Village towards Korovou, the Sawani bridge; a single lane has been opened for motorists on Lodoni Road.

The Central and Eastern Division - Naqeledamu/Buidina Road, Vuci Road to Kuku Rd; from Vuci Road to Mara Rd, Raralevu, Savu Rd, Waisomo Crossing, Nabulakalaka, LHS Sawani/Serea, Babavoce Hill, Culverts one and two in Rewa, Cautata, Nalase, Naitalasese, Waiyanitu, Calia Rd, Naitonitoni, Vakabalea, Princess Rd/Waila Flats, Nabukavesi Rd, Rt Kadavulevu Rd, Koronivia Rd, Delta Loop Rd, Junction of Wailase to Junction of Taci Rd and Corbett Avenue to Serea junction.

 In the North - Zailav Rd, Natewa/West Coast in Labasa.

In the West - most of the roads and crossings were in Rakiraki and Sigatoka.

Rakiraki Lawaki/Nasau Road, Vunikavikaloa Road.

Sigatoka Tilivaliva Road, Nasau Crossing, Draiba Crossing, Uluisila Crossing, Kavanagasau Road.
