Water recedes in Lovu, Gau

Update: 12:50PM RAIN has ceased in the village of Lovu on Gau and the sea water has receded.

Villager Samuela Lewenivanua told The Fiji Times Online their main concern had been the rising sea level but all that subsided when the rain stopped just before sunset yesterday.

 The sun is out right now, with occasional light showers from the morning, but we have kept our children at home as the school is closed, he said.
